  • Churchill Fellowship

    In 2024, Faye visited Botswana and South Africa to explore community engagement practices reducing transmission of HIV and other blood-borne viruses. She then returned to Scotland to contextualise her research into practice through her role as Trustee of Waverley Care, Scotland’s largest sexual health charity.

  • The African and Caribbean Elders (ACE) study

    The African and Caribbean Elders (ACE) study aims to understand the support needs of African and African-Caribbean people living with dementia and their care partners and families. We hope to identify inclusive strategies to facilitate timely and culturally appropriate social care support.

  • Unseen Hands

    A partnership between the MRC-University of Glasgow Centre for Virus Research, the Terrence Higgins Trust (THT) and Waverley Care which explores the different experiences of living with a blood-borne virus (BBV).

  • Coalface to Wildspace: Scotland

    Coalface to Wildspace: Ayrshire, South Lanarkshire & Lothians aims to engage with communities across the region to help create and restore ponds and surrounding land habitats. The project also aims to create Neighbourhood Wildlife Corridors and undertake a vast public engagement programme of activities and events.
